Pitch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You tried to save a life. Now you must justify it.

A man dives after a falling baby thrown from a rooftop, only to be stopped mid fall by a cynical angel who puts his intent on trial.
Trapped in a surreal loop of descent, memory, and judgment, every choice is measured not by its outcome, but by the reason behind it.

DeadWeight: A Lullaby is an interactive psychological drama designed to confront the player with uncomfortable moral responsibility.

Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A rooftop, a scream, and a falling body.
For Elian, a construction worker caught in the wrong place at the right time, life was supposed to end in a heroic sacrifice. Instead, time fractures.

Stopped mid-descent by a volatile, ambiguous entity, Elian becomes trapped in a metaphysical trial where physical laws give way to moral weight.

In DeadWeight: A Lullaby, saving a life is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of an interrogation.

As players move through surreal, fragmented memories and distorted environments, they are not just reliving the past, they are forced to justify it.
Every choice is stripped of its outcome and judged by intent alone, under the scrutiny of a presence that can mock, comfort, or crush without warning.

There are no clear “right” answers. Some choices offer no escape at all.

Key Features
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Trial Without Answers
Choices are not judged by outcome, but by intent.
In many cases, there is no clear “correct” decision; only consequences shaped by how you justify your actions.

An Unpredictable Judge
A volatile higher being guides, challenges, and destabilizes the player, shifting between mockery, empathy, and cruelty.
Its presence defines the tone of every interaction.

Layered Endings Structure
Your journey branches into two major narrative paths based on accumulated choices before splitting again at the final moment, resulting in four distinct endings.

Distorted Reality Spaces
Traverse spaces that feel real yet uncertain where familiar locations presented as warped reflections of reality.
Neither the player nor Elian can be sure whether what they see is a memory, a reconstruction, or the will of the judging entity.

Integrated Hybrid Visual Style
Pixel-art environments are combined with digital illustrations that are both full-screen and embedded directly into gameplay as 4:3 panels.
These moments do not interrupt the experience; they merge with it, intensifying key emotional beats.

Full Voice Acting (EN/TR)
Fully voiced dialogue in both English and Turkish brings the characters and philosophical confrontations to life.

A Focused, Single-Sitting Experience
A dense 45–60 minute narrative designed for a single session, delivering a concentrated emotional impact.

Replay Through Interpretation
Replays are not about discovering “better” outcomes, but about seeing how different perspectives reshape the meaning of the same events.

Atmospheric Psychological Tension
A narrative-driven experience built on discomfort, moral pressure, and psychological intensity rather than jump scares.
